Multiple Sclerosis is a neurological condition which effects the brain & spinal cord where stress can trigger flairups so managing stress levels is one of many essential aspects of wellness with this condition. Adaptogens work their magic by interacting with my body, bringing it back into balance even when life gets hectic.

For instance, when I take ginseng, it gives my pituitary and adrenal glands a boost, which helps me sleep better, feel less achy, and stay energized even when I’m under pressure.

It’s important to note that while there are synthetic versions of some adaptogens, I prefer sticking to natural sources like herbs and mushrooms for their holistic benefits.

Now in technical terms what’s happening? When the HPA axis is overactive, it can lead to symptoms like anxiety, fatigue, and difficulty sleeping. Adaptogens help to calm the HPA axis ultimately restoring balance to the body in many ways.
